Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and technically curious WordPress Developer Intern who can build simple but functional web tools integrated into WordPress. You’ll be developing interactive features like calculators, converters, downloaders, or generators—either as standalone pages or lightweight plugins.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys blending code with creativity and wants to see their work in action helping users every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop simple web-based tools (e.g., BMI calculator, Instagram DP downloader, font previewer) using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

• Integrate these tools into WordPress pages or build them as custom plugins/shortcodes.

• Ensure tools are mobile-responsive, fast-loading, and user-friendly.

• Handle basic front-end UI styling with CSS or page builders (e.g., Elementor).

• Test functionality and fix bugs or performance issues.

• Follow best practices for UX and security (e.g., input validation, download limits).

• Document how each tool works and can be maintained or updated.

Required Skills

• Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

• Basic PHP knowledge for backend logic and WordPress integration.

• Familiarity with how WordPress works (custom post types, shortcodes, plugins).

• Creativity and problem-solving mindset.

• Attention to detail and ability to build clean, intuitive interfaces.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience building tools or mini apps (even as personal projects).

• Understanding of API integrations (e.g., pulling font data, images).

• Familiarity with AJAX for dynamic interactions.

• Experience using Elementor or other visual builders to arrange tool layouts.
